About the job
Our team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Forester to cover the Estonian market and manage the implementation of forestry carbon projects in Estonia. The role will involve business development and evaluation of new project potential to identify new partners and new carbon projects suitable for the Estonian forests.
Responsibilities
  • Ecobase's Estonia coverage forestry expert.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with landowners participating in our carbon projects, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our product and services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and acquire new landowners to join our carbon projects.
  • Provide support and consulting to landowners when analyzing the suitability of forest carbon project activities.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from landowners to enhance our product offering.
  • Ensure customer success by understanding client needs, time addressing concerns and providing solutions.
  • Work closely with our technical and product teams to prioritize and implement customer feedback.
  • Help draft carbon project documentation and prepare other writen reports for various stakeholders in the Ecobase projects.
  • Implement trainings for monitoring of forest inventory.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
  • 5+ years experience as a trained forester.
  • Experience in forest management plans and forest inventory design.
  • Experience with tree growth models and allometric equations.
  • Contact network among foresteres and landowners in Estonia.
  • Self-motivated player who can thrive in a start-up environment and contribute to company growth.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Academic background in forestry a plus.
  • Experience with carbon projects in forestry is seen as a plus.
