About the job
Come join our fast-growing Software Engineering team! The role will involve close collaboration with the business team to deliver high-quality software and web applications to advance our projects in the forest carbon space, as well as management and monitoring the performance of the company’s infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Design optimal technical solutions for our products and systems and take care of relevant documentation.
  • Work with the software engineering team to optimise, simplify and manage our infrastructure and database modelling to run as efficiently as possible across large amounts of data.
  • Work with the software engineering team to monitor the performance of the infrastructure and development workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure robust, scalable, and secure setup of all tools and services.
  • Apply modern container and cluster technologies (Docker).
  • Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to ensure a smooth and speedy delivery of features and fixes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the development team.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Full-stack developer.
  • Significant experience with Laravel web application framework.
  • Significant experience in Vue or equivalent experience in React, Angular, Svelte.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySql).
  • Experience with PostGIS is a plus.
  • Willingness to share your knowledge with others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with different teams within the organisation.
  • Self-motivated player with experience in a start-up environment and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills in English.
