About the job
Our team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Forester to join our Swedish coverage team and manage the implementation of forestry carbon projects in Sweden. The role will involve business development and evaluation of the new project potential to identify new partners and new carbon projects suitable for the Swedish forests.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and acquire new landowners in Sweden to join our carbon projects.
  • Provide support and consulting to landowners when analysing the suitability of forest carbon project activities.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with landowners who join our carbon projects, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our product and services.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from landowners to enhance our product offering.
  • Support forest carbon modelling efforts for afforestation and improved forest management growth curves.
  • Ensure customer success by understanding client needs, time addressing concerns and providing solutions.
  • Work closely with our technical and product teams to prioritise and implement customer feedback.
  • Help draft carbon project documentation and prepare other writen reports for various stakeholders in the Ecobase projects.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
  • 5+ years experience as a trained forester.
  • Contact network among foresteres and landowners in Sweden.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Experience in forest management plans and forest inventory design.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills in English.
  • Self-motivated player who can thrive in a start-up environment and contribute to company growth.
  • Academic background in forestry a plus.
  • Experience with carbon projects in forestry a plus.
